Fruit stands
Driving around the island there are fruit stands here and there all over the place. A few of the stands are empty now since covid ruined the tourism business, but there are still ones that are available. This one is close to where we shop, I've stopped a couple of times, compared to Hawaii they have really good prices. You can get a pineapple for less than $2, this last time I bought a Watermelon for $3.60. Tomatoes were $1 a lb. They have a large selection, this time they even had bags of peanuts. I have found out that they grow a lot of cashews on the island, not enough to make it a business. I haven't tried them yet because people sell them for $16 for a bag.
