Hangover Hut - West Bay

Hangover hut is in the parking lot next to La Placita.  It has a big Canadian flag out front.  We decided to try it finally.  So I was born in Canada, but Poutine wasn't really a thing when I was there, it didn't become popular until later.  Most of my family lives in Canada and I had never tried Poutine.  They had it on the menu so I had to try it.  We split the hamburger and chose onion rings as a side ($14 + 2 for onion rings) and a plate of Poutine ($8).  The burger was delicious!!!  Onion rings were too salty but good.

OK......  I hope I don't disappoint all my Canadian friends and family, but I did not like Poutine.  Not a fan of all that gravy covering my french fries.  We will definitely go back - they have Euchre games 2 days a week. lol  But not eating the Poutine.

  2. OK, what the hell is Philly Cheese Chicken? $5 for the Onion Rings? Drink prices are high too for a restaurant like that. I assume it's an expensive restaurant by local standards.
