Blue Roatan - West Bay

This is a little fancier restaurant then we normally go to, but if you want  a good meal with  a view, try this place.  I should have taken more pictures of the grounds, they were beautiful and had a cute little sitting area with a dip pool (size of a hot tub but cooler water.)  We owed a couple a lunch and they wanted to try this place.  So four of the least expensive items on the menu and 4 beverages came to $120.00 plus tip!  The menu didn't have your ordinary items on it.  The hamburger had bleu cheese,  They had a lobster sandwich, steak prices started at $30 on up.  I ordered the grilled snapper and it came with a choice of 2 sides.  I chose the salad and rice and beans.  The salad dressing was a little spicier than I eat, but managed to eat it.  The rice and beans were delicious.  The fish was really good but a little salty so I asked for some tarter sauce, which they didn't have but they had a pomegranate sauce that was absolutely delicious!.

Greg ordered the snapper sandwich which came with French fries.  The food was very filling.  I took a picture of our friends plate, one of their sides was tostorones.  Which are sliced plantains deep fried.  Almost tasted like french fries.
