Snappers/Caribe Restaurant
I had seen the Snappers Restaurant many times at the Mega Plaza, but it was vacant, then I saw this other restaurant called Caribe - turns out it's the new Snappers. The new Snappers is a much better location - its right on the water. They had a menu on large chalkboards mounted to the wall behind the cash registers, they also had a long cafeteria style area, we were curious. Turns out that it's an either/or situation. You can choose food from the long counters, or you can go to the cash register and order off the menu on the chalkboard, little confusing at first. The cafeteria line was an a la carte, it included sides like potato salad, rice/beans, white rice, cooked whole bananas, main dishes were conch dish and bbq chicken thighs.
